Since the new Information and Communication Technology Equipment safety standard, IEC/EN/UL62368-1, will replace IEC/EN/UL60590-1 by December 20th, 2020, MEAN WELL has completed the safety upgrade from IEC/EN/UL60950-1 to IEC/EN/UL62368-1 for the entire Information Technology Equipment products. With the robust support of the third party, TUV, UL, Dekra, SIQ and other international standard certification organizations, MEAN WELL again pioneers the standard power industry via the official safety upgrade announcement.

IEC / EN / UL 62368 is the new safety standard for Information Technology Equipment and Audio/Video Equipment. Most countries have gradually adopted the new standard into their national standards. MEAN WELL will fully absorb the costs incurred from this upgrade and will not adjust the product price.

Moreover, in view of the coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) epidemic situation, to accelerate the new safety regulations adoption and to ensure stable supply chains and production, the lead time of the NRND and EOL models is adjusted, please refer to the following terms for details.
 

1. The Last Buy Order date for NRND models is adjusted to 2020.3.31, lead time 90 days, and the MOQ requirement is 100 pcs/model.
2. Orders of NRND models are consolated by MEAN WELL group and the delivery time will start from 2020.9.30.
3. MEAN WELL group reserves the right to early delivery.
