2020 Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition - MEAN WELL Showed with Strength, the pioneer of global standard power supply
The annual lighting event, the 25th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (Guangya Exhibition), kicked off amidst the thousands of calls, and closed successfully on October 13th. Although affected by the epidemic, everyone enthusiasm for viewing the exhibition is still high. Lighting practitioners from the north and south have gathered together at the Guangya Exhibition.

Highlight 1: DC/DC LED lighting application
Everyone knows that the mains electricity is alternating current (AC), and most of our practical applications are direct current (DC). In the past, each LED lamp needs to be equipped with a driver to convert AC to DC. Is there any possibility that the AC power is converted into DC power through just one high-power power supply, and then use DC BUS to power each lamp?
MEAN WELL UHP-55V series is based on this concept. Through the UHP-55V series, each lamp is matched with a low-cost DC/DC driver LDD series. Through this DC centralized power supply method, the cost can be greatly reduced. For the occasions where a large number of LED lamps are used, it will bring impressive benefits.

Highlight 2: A variety of smart dimming products
Nowadays, “intelligence” is inseparable from everyone life, smart dimming, smart home, smart light pole... MEAN WELL has also followed in the footsteps and developed a series of smart dimming products. From the earliest 0~10V voltage dimming, resistance dimming, 10V PWM signal dimming, to DALI dimming, smart timing dimming, EnOcean dimming, and now KNX dimming and Bluetooth dimming.
In addition, Bluetooth dimming is available in Tuya/Casambi/Silvair three systems, a variety of options for you to choose.
In addition, MEAN WELL also cooperated with Tuya this year to show everyone the dimming application of Tuya system at the exhibition.
